Excellent HFM Stop and Start Script with Log Rotating
I found this excellent HFM start and stop script on http://epminfratechedge.blogspot.com/2012/06/in-extension-to-hfm-auto-restart-script.html
This is great. There are two parts in the series, but it made it very easy to create a script to stop and start my system 9 HFM server, and rotate the ever growing logs.
Thanks!

Hey Robert, Thanks for using the script 🙂 Feel free to reach. if you would need it for 11.1.2.x. Let me know I can tailor it as per your requirement.
Thanks & Regards,

Take a look at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15523_01/core.1111/e10105/logs.htm
Log rotation is now built into this and Weblogic for anything higher than 11.1.2.x.
In the http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15523_01/core.1111/e10105/logs.htm, “11.4 Configuring Settings for Log Files”, it says “can change the log settings of Managed Servers and Java components using Fusion Middleware Control or WLST”.
but I have no idea about Fusion Middleware Control or WLST, where could I find them? Do I need to install something additionally?
Wish I could rotate my logs asap.
Patricia
I found some doc http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15523_01/core.1111/e10105/start.htm, will try first, may ask for your help 🙂 Thanks for your help:)
