DacEasy and ESET troubleshooting

DacEasy stops opening company files from when using it from another computer that has ESET installed. Perform all of these steps on the computer that has all the DacEasy files on it (usually a server)

  1. Open ESET:
  • Click Setup on the left
  • Click Security Tools
  • Click Network Connections

Note: The connections need to have the “Connection Profile” set to Private.

  • If you have any that do not say Private, right click on them and click Edit. Choose Private (Trusted) and click OK.
  • Close ESET and try DacEasy again from another computer.
